February 08, 2022 Like so many of us, Sean Howard fondly remembers playing miniature golf with family and friends as a kid. So, having just moved from Seattle to Walnut Creek, and finding himself with little to do during the early days of quarantine, Sean began tinkering around in his garage. Before he knew it, he’d built the first hole of what would become Putters Putt Putt, an 18-hole miniature golf course initially located in Sean’s backyard. In September 2021, the course was moved to downtown Walnut Creek, less than 10 minutes by car from the Lafayette Park Hotel, and the course has since become quite popular with surrounding communities. If you’re traveling with children, or just looking to let your inner child loose for a bit, Putters Putt Putt is a terrific outdoor afternoon activity, with just enough competitive edge to keep things exciting. Putters Putt Putt is open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2 – 7 P.M., and Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 – 7:30 P.M. Admission is $10 per person, no reservations needed.Putters Putt Putt: Fun, Family-Friendly, and Just Around the Corner
