September 02, 2019 One of the great joys of a place like Lafayette is the unmistakable sense of community that permeates town life. On Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, you’ll have the chance to experience the thrill of one of Contra Costa County’s most venerable communal traditions, the Lafayette Art, Wine, and Music Festival. In 2017, over 80,000 flocked to downtown Lafayette to celebrate, and last year, the number exceeded 85,000. This year, we hope to welcome at least 90,000 to browse among the many booths where local artists and artisans will sell their creations, and live bands will entertain all day long on not one but four different stages. Local restaurants, mom-and-pop vendors, and food trucks will provide delicious eats, and with all the vintners and microbrewers on hand, you’ll have no trouble quenching your thirst either. What about the kids, you say? With three dedicated Kids Zones filled with rides, games, and other attractions, your little ones will have a blast.Family-Friendly Fun at the Lafayette Art, Wine, and Music Festival
